Saltadere Local Clinic is Currently Under Construction

Many people living in Saltadere and its surrounding areas do not have access to daily medicare and a local medical facility. The closest clinic is about 2-3 hours walk from Saltadere, where only 3 people have cars for transportation. We have been working hard to provide some sort of medical care to Saltadere citizens by funding a mobile clinic where local staffers would come couple times a week. Because Saltadere constantly experiences cholera outbreaks due to consumption of polluted river water and young mothers have low survival rate in childbirth, we have been planning and fundraising since 2013 to build a local clinic and hire doctors, nurses, and midwives to work in Saltadere. To create the medical facility described above, we are planning to renovate an old dispensary building to have suitable conditions for patient care.
